First of all, thank you for visiting my new blog ♡

Some of you may remember that I used to have another blog back in 2008. Honestly… most of it was just me documenting my very embarrassing puberty years hahaha. I eventually deleted it out of pure shame, although part of me still feels sentimental about it. That blog was surprisingly popular in high school; it somehow turned into an unofficial school magazine. I still keep the old posts hidden somewhere though, just for future nostalgia.

A lot has changed since then.

I started working full-time during my second semester of university while also taking freelance jobs on the side. Even though I had already been working as a translator since high school, entering the professional world felt completely different. I still remember how proud I felt buying my first iPhone and iPad with my own money. A few years earlier, even buying books with my own savings already felt painful enough xD

Lately, one quote has stayed in my mind:

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

The older I get, the more I realize there’s probably no such thing as a day completely unworthy of gratitude. Even the bad days shape us into who we become. Life can be messy and exhausting sometimes, but overall, I still think life is good.

A little message to my future self:
Please don’t ever wish your days away. And I hope one day we’ll have a dog (or several dogs).
